Responsibilities
- Master specialty brewing techniques including espresso extraction, pour-overs, and cold brew
- Deliver exceptional customer service through personalized beverage recommendations
- Train and mentor junior baristas on advanced coffee preparation
- Manage inventory of premium coffee beans and specialty ingredients
- Develop seasonal beverage menus using local artisanal products
- Maintain pristine equipment and workspace hygiene standards
- Contribute to weekly staff training sessions on coffee trends
- Handle POS transactions with 100% accuracy
Qualifications
- 3+ years of specialty coffee experience with advanced latte art certification
- Deep knowledge of coffee bean origins, roasting profiles, and flavor profiles
- Proven ability to manage high-volume service environments
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic inventory management experience
- Flexible availability including weekend availability
- Food Handler's certification (or willingness to obtain)
