Responsibilities
- Picking and Packing: Efficiently select and prepare merchandise for shipment using handheld scanners and RF guns.
- Inventory Management: Assist in cycle counts and maintain accurate stock levels within the warehouse facility.
- Material Handling: Operate material handling equipment, including pallet jacks and forklifts (certification provided upon hire).
- Quality Control: Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments to ensure accuracy and condition.
- Load and Unload: Safely load and unload trucks, ensuring proper weight distribution and securing cargo.
- Warehouse Maintenance: Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with OSHA safety standards.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED: Preferred, but not always required for entry-level roles.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy in data entry and inventory tracking.
- Reliability: Must be punctual and maintain a consistent attendance record.
- Basic Math Skills: Proficiency with basic arithmetic for inventory counting.
- Teamwork: Willingness to collaborate with coworkers and supervisors.
