Responsibilities
- Loading and Unloading: Safely load and unload merchandise from delivery trucks using appropriate equipment.
- Picking and Packing: Accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining inventory levels, organizing stock, and conducting regular stock counts.
- Equipment Operation: Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling machinery safely.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies to maintain a secure working environment.
- Facility Maintenance: Keep the warehouse area clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for damage and report any discrepancies to the shift supervisor immediately.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not required; on-the-job training provided.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy and detail when handling inventory.
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible shifts, including weekends and nights.
- Documentation: Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Skills: Basic math skills for inventory counting and familiarity with barcode scanners.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
