Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues for remote and onsite clients.
- Provide technical support via phone, email, and remote desktop tools during evening and weekend shifts.
- Monitor system performance and alert management to any critical failures or security breaches.
- Manage ticket queues efficiently, prioritizing urgent requests to ensure minimal downtime.
- Assist with network administration, including configuration and maintenance of local area networks (LANs).
- Document all technical issues and resolutions in our Knowledge Base system.
- Collaborate with the full-time engineering team to implement long-term technical improvements.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's degree in Information Technology or related field preferred.
- 1+ years of experience in IT support, help desk, or technical support roles.
- Familiarity with operating systems including Windows, macOS, and basic Linux administration.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently during night and weekend shifts.
- Excellent communication skills to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Flexibility to work a rotating schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- CompTIA A+ certification is a plus but not mandatory.
