Responsibilities
- Execute manual and automated test scripts to identify bugs, usability issues, and system defects.
- Document detailed bug reports and track issues using JIRA or similar project management tools.
- Collaborate closely with the development team to troubleshoot defects and verify fixes.
- Perform regression testing to ensure software stability after updates and releases.
- Participate in daily stand-ups and sprint planning meetings to align on testing goals.
- Maintain and update test plans and test cases to reflect changing requirements.
Qualifications
- 1-2 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance (QA) or Software Testing.
- Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
- Familiarity with SQL for database querying and basic scripting (Java, Python, or Selenium) is a strong plus.
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in an evening or weekend shift environment.
- Proficient in using web browsers and testing documentation tools.
