Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests with a warm and welcoming demeanor, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using our POS system.
- Deliver orders promptly and accurately, ensuring temperature and presentation standards are met.
- Upsell menu items and answer guest questions regarding ingredients and preparation.
- Handle cash and credit transactions efficiently and reconcile daily reports.
- Maintain a clean and organized dining area, including resetting tables between service.
- Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure seamless service flow.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of food and wine pairings is a plus but not required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a calm and professional demeanor.
- Must be available to work weekends and holidays as needed.
- Valid food handler's card or willingness to obtain one.
