Responsibilities
- Provide attentive table service with knowledge of seasonal menu items and wine pairings
- Process orders accurately through our digital POS system
- Manage table rotations during peak hours while maintaining composure
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food delivery
- Handle payment transactions and cash management procedures
- Contribute to a positive team atmosphere through clear communication
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in dining areas
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year fine dining or high-volume restaurant experience
- Oregon Food Handler's certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to stand/walk for 6+ hours and lift 25 lbs
- Strong multitasking skills with attention to detail
- Exceptional communication and guest service abilities
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Knowledge of Portland's craft beer and wine scene preferred
