Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and escort them to their tables, providing menus and promptly taking beverage orders.
- Present and explain the menu, offering recommendations based on guests' preferences and dietary restrictions.
- Take accurate food and drink orders via POS systems and relay them efficiently to the kitchen.
- Check on guests regularly to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns immediately.
- Process payments accurately and efficiently, handling cash and credit transactions with integrity.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary dining area at all times.
- Collaborate with the kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely service and high-quality food presentation.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a server in a fine dining or upscale establishment is preferred.
- Strong verbal communication skills and a friendly, outgoing personality.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.
- Familiarity with POS (Point of Sale) systems and tablet-based ordering.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and alcohol service laws.
- Availability to work weekends, holidays, and evenings as required.
- High school diploma or GED required.
