Responsibilities
- Provide attentive table service with menu knowledge and wine pairing expertise
- Process orders accurately via POS system and coordinate with kitchen staff
- Manage station cleanliness and table turnover efficiency
- Handle payment transactions and maintain cash accountability
- Upsell specials and high-margin menu items to increase revenue
- Resolve guest concerns promptly with a solutions-oriented approach
- Collaborate with bar and support teams for seamless service flow
Qualifications
- Previous serving experience in full-service restaurant preferred
- Wisconsin Food Handler Certification (or ability to obtain immediately)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in high-pressure situations
- Strong attention to detail and time management
- Positive attitude with genuine passion for hospitality
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Basic math skills for cash handling and order accuracy
