Responsibilities
- Provide attentive table service to guests, including order taking, beverage service, and meal delivery
- Master menu knowledge, including ingredients, allergens, and preparation methods
- Process payments accurately and efficiently using POS systems
- Maintain clean dining areas, tables, and service stations throughout shift
- Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure seamless service flow
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve concerns with professionalism
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year restaurant serving experience preferred
- Valid California Food Handler Card (or ability to obtain immediately)
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift 25 lbs
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Basic math proficiency for cash handling
