Responsibilities
- Provide attentive table service to 4-6 tables simultaneously while maintaining high standards of hospitality
- Expertly navigate a 150-item menu with detailed knowledge of ingredients, allergens, and wine pairings
- Process orders accurately through POS system while maintaining seamless communication with kitchen staff
- Handle cash and credit card transactions with precision and maintain accountability for all payments
- Contribute to a collaborative team environment by assisting with side work during downtime
- Uphold strict sanitation standards and maintain immaculate table presentation
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year fine dining or high-volume restaurant server experience
- Valid California Food Handler Card (ServSafe) or ability to obtain immediately
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to multitask in high-pressure situations
- Strong knowledge of craft cocktails, wine regions, and dietary restrictions
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays (minimum 20 hours/week)
- Proven ability to maintain composure during peak service hours
- Positive attitude and passion for creating memorable guest experiences
