Responsibilities
- Provide attentive table service with knowledge of seasonal menu items and wine pairings
- Process payments accurately using POS systems while maintaining cash handling integrity
- Coordinate with kitchen and bar staff for seamless order execution
- Set up and maintain dining room standards for cleanliness and ambiance
- Resolve guest concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction
- Upsell signature dishes and premium beverages to enhance check averages
- Participate in pre-shift briefings and post-shift closing procedures
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year fine dining or high-volume restaurant experience preferred
- Washington Food Handler Permit (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Ability to stand/walk for 6+ hours and lift 30 lbs regularly
- Strong communication skills with exceptional customer service mindset
- Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
- Basic POS proficiency (Toast or Square experience a plus)
- Team-oriented attitude with proactive problem-solving abilities
