Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional hospitality to every guest, ensuring a welcoming and memorable dining experience from arrival to departure.
- Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of the menu, wine list, and daily specials to make informed recommendations.
- Utilize the POS system to process orders accurately, handle payments, and manage guest checks efficiently.
- Collaborate seamlessly with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate food and beverage delivery.
- Uphold rigorous cleanliness and sanitation standards in dining and service areas at all times.
- Engage with guests proactively, anticipating needs and resolving any issues with grace and professionalism.
- Contribute to a positive team dynamic by supporting colleagues during peak service periods.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a full-service restaurant environment is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of wine, beer, and cocktails is a plus.
- Must be available to work weekends, holidays, and evening shifts.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Food Handler's Card or ability to obtain one upon hire.
- A valid Illinois driver's license is not required but may be helpful for local delivery tasks.
