Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests with warmth and professionalism, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using the POS system and relay them efficiently to the kitchen and bar.
- Provide detailed menu knowledge, including ingredients, preparation methods, and daily specials, to guide guest selections.
- Deliver exceptional guest service by anticipating needs and resolving any issues promptly and graciously.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary dining area throughout your shift.
- Upsell products appropriately to enhance the guest experience and contribute to sales goals.
- Cash out and reconcile tips accurately at the end of each shift.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Server in a high-volume restaurant setting preferred.
- Strong knowledge of wine, beer, and classic cocktails is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods while maintaining energy and professionalism.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and tipping calculations.
- Ability to lift trays weighing up to 25 lbs and stand for long shifts.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
