Responsibilities
- Monitor server performance, uptime, and health metrics to ensure 99.9% availability.
- Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Linux and Windows Server environments.
- Execute regular system backups and disaster recovery procedures.
- Manage user access, permissions, and security protocols.
- Install, patch, and update server software and applications.
- Respond to and resolve IT tickets related to server issues and network connectivity.
- Document technical procedures and system configurations for the team.
Qualifications
- Associate degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in server administration or system support.
- Strong proficiency in Linux (RHEL, CentOS) and Windows Server environments.
- Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V) is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
