Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain on-premise server hardware and virtualization platforms (VMware/Hyper-V).
- Implement and monitor robust backup and disaster recovery solutions.
- Configure and secure network services, including DNS, DHCP, and Active Directory.
- Perform regular system updates, patch management, and security audits.
- Provide Tier 2/3 technical support for server-related incidents and troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with cloud engineers to ensure seamless hybrid cloud operations.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in server administration and infrastructure management.
- Strong proficiency in Windows Server and Linux (RHEL/CentOS).
- Familiarity with virtualization technologies (VMware vSphere is a plus).
- Knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, subnetting) and firewalls.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure).
- CompTIA Server+ or Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
