Responsibilities
- Greet and Seat Guests: Welcome patrons warmly, manage wait times efficiently, and ensure seating arrangements are comfortable and organized.
- Order Taking: Accurately take food and beverage orders using the POS system, ensuring dietary restrictions and allergies are communicated to the kitchen.
- Service Delivery: Serve meals and drinks with precision, check on guests regularly to ensure satisfaction, and handle special requests with a smile.
- Upselling: Introduce daily specials, wine pairings, and desserts to enhance the guest experience and increase revenue.
- Payment Processing: Process transactions efficiently and accurately, handling cash and digital payments while maintaining tight cash control.
- Cleanliness: Maintain a pristine dining environment by setting tables, clearing dishes, and sanitizing surfaces throughout your shift.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in a high-volume restaurant or hospitality setting preferred.
- Communication: Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to listen actively and interact professionally with guests and staff.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand and walk for long periods, lift up to 25 lbs, and work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
- Availability: Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by business volume.
- Knowledge: Basic knowledge of wine, beer, and cocktail pairings is a plus.
- Attitude: A friendly, positive, and proactive attitude with a genuine desire to provide top-tier customer service.
