Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests with a warm, welcoming demeanor to create an immediate positive impression.
- Present menus, explain daily specials, and answer questions about menu items with expertise.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using our Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently.
- Deliver orders to tables in a timely manner, ensuring presentation standards are met.
- Clean and sanitize work areas, tables, and equipment throughout the shift.
- Handle cash and card transactions accurately and process payments promptly.
- Build relationships with regular guests to ensure repeat business and high customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant or hospitality experience is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication skills and a friendly, outgoing personality.
- Ability to stand, walk, and carry items for extended periods.
- Familiarity with POS systems (e.g., Toast, Micros, OpenTable) is a plus.
- Valid food handler’s card or willingness to obtain one.
- Availability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays.
- Attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a busy environment.
