Responsibilities
- Provide attentive, friendly service to guests while maintaining knowledge of menu items, specials, and beverages
- Accurately process orders, payments, and handle cash/credit transactions using POS systems
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food delivery and resolve guest concerns promptly
- Reset tables efficiently, maintain clean dining areas, and adhere to strict sanitation standards
- Upsell menu items, promote daily specials, and accommodate dietary restrictions
- Collaborate with servers and support staff to ensure seamless table turnover
- Participate in pre-shift meetings and ongoing training programs
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months of food service experience preferred
- Strong customer service orientation with exceptional interpersonal skills
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
- Basic math proficiency for handling cash transactions
- Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ohio Food Handler Certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Team player mentality with ability to multitask in high-pressure situations
