Responsibilities
- Provide attentive table service with impeccable timing and presentation
- Master 50+ menu items and 100+ wine selections with expert knowledge
- Process payments accurately and maintain POS system integrity
- Collaborate with kitchen staff for seamless order execution
- Uphold cleanliness standards for dining areas and service stations
- Anticipate guest needs and resolve concerns proactively
- Participate in pre-shift briefings and ongoing training initiatives
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year fine dining or upscale restaurant experience
- NYC Food Protection Handler certification required
- Exceptional communication and multitasking abilities
- Ability to lift 25 lbs and stand for 6+ hours
- Proficient in reservation systems (e.g., OpenTable)
- Impeccable grooming and professional appearance
- Valid NYC ServSafe Alcohol certification preferred
- Flexible availability including weekends and holidays
