Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers with a friendly and professional demeanor, answering questions and providing product recommendations.
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system efficiently, processing transactions accurately and handling cash and credit payments.
- Restock shelves, organize merchandise displays, and ensure the sales floor is clean, organized, and visually appealing at all times.
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate with the management team regarding stock needs and potential shortages.
- Handle customer inquiries, returns, and exchanges courteously and resolve any issues to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Assist in maintaining a safe and secure shopping environment for all customers and staff.
Qualifications
- Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred but not required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse customers.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transactions.
- Availability to work weekends, holidays, and evenings as required.
