Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist with product inquiries to ensure a high-quality shopping experience.
- Stock shelves and displays with accuracy and efficiency, ensuring products are labeled correctly.
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system to process transactions quickly and accurately.
- Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the sales floor, break room, and restrooms.
- Handle returns and exchanges according to company policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily sales goals and store targets.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
- Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred but not required.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups of people.
- Basic math skills for handling cash and transactions.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs regularly.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
