Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly upon entering the store and provide friendly, knowledgeable assistance.
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately and efficiently to process sales and returns.
- Restock merchandise on shelves and ensure displays are clean, organized, and visually appealing.
- Assist customers in locating products and answering questions regarding product features and availability.
- Maintain a clean and safe shopping environment by adhering to all store policies and safety regulations.
- Participate in inventory management processes, including stock counts and seasonal transitions.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily sales targets and store goals.
Qualifications
- Previous retail or customer service experience is a plus but not required.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with people of all backgrounds.
- A positive attitude and a genuine desire to help others.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and making change.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift boxes weighing up to 25 lbs.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
