Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome customers warmly, answering their questions and assisting with product selection.
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system efficiently, handling cash, credit, and digital payments accurately.
- Restock shelves and displays to ensure the store is organized, clean, and visually appealing at all times.
- Assist in inventory management by checking stock levels and reporting shortages.
- Process returns, exchanges, and damaged goods according to company policies.
- Maintain a safe and tidy shopping environment for all patrons.
Qualifications
- Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage with diverse customers.
- Basic math skills and accuracy with money handling.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 25 lbs for extended periods.
- Reliable transportation and availability to work weekends and holidays.
- Familiarity with smartphones and tablet technology is a plus.
