Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers with a friendly, professional demeanor to ensure a positive shopping experience.
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately, processing transactions, returns, and exchanges efficiently.
- Stock merchandise, organize shelves, and maintain a clean, inviting store environment that meets our high standards.
- Provide product knowledge to customers, answering questions and making recommendations to drive sales.
- Assist in store events, promotions, and visual merchandising initiatives to enhance the customer journey.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily sales goals and maintain inventory accuracy.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; prior retail experience is a plus but not required.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse customers and colleagues.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 30 lbs and bending/reaching.
- Flexibility to work a varying schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Basic computer literacy and comfort with handling cash and electronic payment systems.
- A keen eye for detail and a strong commitment to customer satisfaction.
