Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers with a friendly and professional demeanor to ensure a positive shopping experience.
- Maintain the visual appeal of the sales floor by ensuring products are stocked, organized, and presented according to company standards.
- Process customer transactions accurately using the point-of-sale (POS) system, including handling cash and credit payments.
- Answer customer inquiries regarding product availability, pricing, and store policies.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily sales targets and store goals.
- Keep the sales floor, fitting rooms, and restrooms clean and organized at all times.
Qualifications
- Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred but not required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport with customers.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and inventory management.
- Reliable transportation to and from the workplace.
