Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers with a friendly, professional demeanor to ensure a positive shopping experience.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system accurately and efficiently, handling cash and credit transactions.
- Maintain the visual appeal of the sales floor by organizing merchandise, restocking shelves, and ensuring displays are clean and inviting.
- Process returns, exchanges, and refunds in accordance with company policy.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily sales targets and operational goals.
- Provide product knowledge and recommendations to help customers find exactly what they need.
Qualifications
- Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred but not required.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs with ease.
- Strong communication skills and a friendly, approachable personality.
- Basic math skills and comfort with technology (POS systems, tablets).
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- A valid driver's license is a plus for stockroom duties.
