Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers with a smile, ensuring a welcoming shopping environment.
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems accurately and efficiently to process transactions.
- Restock shelves and maintain a clean, organized, and safe sales floor.
- Answer customer inquiries regarding products, prices, and store policies.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily sales targets and visual merchandising standards.
- Handle cash, credit, and check transactions with strict adherence to security protocols.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred.
- Previous retail or customer service experience is a plus but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand and move around the sales floor for extended periods.
- Basic math skills for handling cash and making change.
