Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional service to ensure a positive shopping experience.
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately, processing transactions efficiently and handling cash responsibly.
- Restock merchandise, organize displays, and maintain a clean, organized sales floor according to company standards.
- Assist customers in finding products, providing product knowledge, and suggesting add-ons to increase sales.
- Handle customer returns, exchanges, and complaints with professionalism and empathy.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily and weekly sales targets.
- Adhere to all safety and operational policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a friendly demeanor.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs occasionally.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and inventory management.
- Availability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
