Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers with a friendly and professional demeanor, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system accurately to process sales, returns, and exchanges efficiently.
- Merchandise the sales floor by organizing displays, replenishing stock, and ensuring products are priced and labeled correctly.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized store environment in accordance with company standards.
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints with patience and resolve issues to the customer's satisfaction.
- Cross-train in various departments to support team members during peak hours.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous retail or customer service experience is a plus but not required.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to interact positively with a diverse customer base.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and pricing.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs occasionally.
- Reliable attendance and a positive attitude.
