Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with finding products and making purchasing decisions.
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately and efficiently to process sales, returns, and exchanges.
- Organize and merchandise the sales floor to ensure products are displayed attractively and inventory is stocked.
- Monitor stock levels and communicate needs to management to prevent out-of-stock situations.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace, including the stockroom and fitting areas.
- Resolve customer inquiries and complaints professionally while adhering to company policies.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily sales targets and store goals.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred but not required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a friendly demeanor.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs regularly.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory counting.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
- Availability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as required.
