Responsibilities
- Unload and sort incoming shipments, verifying accuracy and condition of goods.
- Operate material handling equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, safely and efficiently.
- Pick, pack, and stage orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Maintain organized and clean work areas, adhering to safety protocols.
- Perform inventory counts and assist in cycle counting processes.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily and weekly production goals.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to the supervisor.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; prior warehouse experience is a plus.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Basic knowledge of warehouse operations and safety procedures.
- Valid forklift certification or willingness to obtain one.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable transportation to and from the warehouse.
- Availability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends as needed.
