As a Night Shift Associate, you will play a crucial role in our supply chain operations, ensuring that our distribution center runs smoothly from dusk until dawn.
Responsibilities
- Execute Operations: Perform inbound and outbound loading/unloading of freight using forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Pick & Pack: Accurately pick, pack, and prepare customer orders according to strict quality standards.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular cycle counts.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety protocols and warehouse regulations to ensure a hazard-free environment.
- Equipment Maintenance: Inspect and report any issues with warehouse equipment immediately.
- Organization: Keep the warehouse floor organized and clutter-free to optimize workflow efficiency.
- Reporting: Document daily activities and report any discrepancies or damages to the shift supervisor.
Qualifications
- Availability: Must be available to work rotating night shifts (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Experience: Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not required; on-the-job training provided.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Reliability: Strong work ethic and a history of punctual attendance.
- Skills: Basic computer skills and the ability to read labels and pick tickets accurately.
- Certification: Forklift certification is a plus.
- Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
