Responsibilities
- Monitor premises and personnel to prevent theft, violence, or rule violations
- Patrol property on foot and via vehicle to inspect security conditions
- Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, and suspicious activities
- Operate surveillance systems and document incidents in detailed reports
- Screen visitors and vehicles for unauthorized items
- Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency services as needed
- Maintain strict confidentiality and professional conduct at all times
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Florida Class D Security License (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods in varying conditions
- Strong observational skills and attention to detail
- Basic computer proficiency for report writing
- Excellent communication and de-escalation abilities
- Reliable transportation and punctuality
- Previous security or customer service experience preferred
