Responsibilities
- Monitor premises via CCTV and patrols to prevent unauthorized access
- Respond to incidents and de-escalate conflicts professionally
- Enforce venue policies and ID verification protocols
- Document security incidents and prepare detailed reports
- Coordinate with local law enforcement during emergencies
- Operate security systems including metal detectors and alarms
- Provide excellent customer service to venue patrons
Qualifications
- Valid Massachusetts Security License (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year security or customer service experience
- Strong conflict resolution and communication skills
- Ability to stand/walk for 8-hour shifts
- Flexible availability including weekends and holidays
- Basic first aid/CPR certification preferred
- Must pass background check and drug screening
