Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including vital sign monitoring and wound care
- Assist physicians with examinations and minor procedures
- Manage electronic health records and patient documentation
- Administer medications and injections under physician supervision
- Coordinate patient flow and ensure exam rooms are stocked
- Handle phone triage and schedule appointments
- Maintain HIPAA compliance and confidentiality standards
Qualifications
- Current Medical Assistant certification (CMA or RMA)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in fast-paced environment
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and clinical procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Basic computer proficiency with EHR systems
