Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care including vital sign monitoring and medication administration
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) documentation
- Respond to patient emergencies and implement care protocols
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless care transitions
- Assist with patient admissions, discharges, and transfers
- Perform routine equipment checks and safety inspections
- Support infection control procedures and regulatory compliance
Qualifications
- Current Kansas CNA or Medical Assistant certification required
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in a healthcare setting
- BLS/CPR certification (or obtainable within 30 days)
- Ability to work independently with strong clinical judgment
- Proficient in EHR systems (experience with Epic preferred)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility to adapt to changing patient needs
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
