Responsibilities
- Pack and Prepare Orders: Accurately pack, label, and prepare customer orders for shipment using industrial packing equipment.
- Inventory Management: Conduct cycle counts and maintain accurate inventory records within the warehouse management system.
- Loading and Unloading: Safely load and unload pallets using forklifts (if certified) or hand trucks, adhering to safety protocols.
- Quality Control: Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for damage or discrepancies and report any issues immediately.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine cleaning and basic maintenance of workstations and equipment.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety guidelines and company policies during night operations.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED: Minimum educational requirement.
- Reliable Transportation: Must have reliable transportation to arrive on time for the night shift.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Availability: Must be available to work night shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy in inventory and order processing.
- Basic Computer Literacy: Comfortable using handheld scanners or computer terminals.
