Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers during medical procedures
- Accurately record vital signs and update electronic health records
- Administer injections and medications under provider supervision
- Sterilize equipment and maintain clean exam rooms
- Schedule appointments and handle basic patient inquiries
- Assist with lab specimen collection and processing
Qualifications
- Active Medical Assistant certification (CMA/RMA)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in ambulatory care
- Proficiency with EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Ohio BLS/CPR certification
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work 20-25 hours weekly with flexible availability
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
