Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot Hardware & Software: Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues for employees, including desktops, laptops, printers, and peripheral devices.
- Ticket Management: Log, track, and manage IT service requests using our Jira Service Desk to ensure SLA adherence.
- Network Assistance: Assist in maintaining local area network (LAN) connectivity and troubleshoot Wi-Fi connectivity issues.
- User Support: Provide on-site and remote support for password resets, account provisioning, and software installations.
- Security Compliance: Help enforce IT security policies and ensure all devices are up-to-date with the latest patches.
- Hardware Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on company hardware and manage inventory for spare parts.
Qualifications
- Education: Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent technical certification (CompTIA A+ preferred).
- Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of experience in IT support or help desk roles.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Windows 10/11 and Microsoft Office 365 suite.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Availability: Must be available to work evening shifts and occasional weekends.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills with a proactive approach to troubleshooting.
