Responsibilities
- Coordinate logistics for 3-5 events per week including vendor scheduling and timeline management
- Conduct on-site event setup and teardown with attention to detail
- Manage client communication and resolve issues during live events
- Collaborate with venue partners to ensure compliance with safety regulations
- Track event budgets and expense reporting using digital tools
- Assist with social media promotion of upcoming events
- Maintain inventory of event supplies and equipment
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year experience in event coordination or hospitality
- Proficiency with event management software (e.g., Cvent, Eventbrite)
- Exceptional multitasking and time management abilities
- Strong problem-solving skills under pressure
- Valid driver's license with reliable transportation
- Availability to work evenings and weekends (15-25 hours/week)
- Knowledge of New Orleans venues and vendors preferred
- Basic graphic design skills a plus
