Responsibilities
- Coordinate end-to-end event planning for corporate and private clients
- Manage vendor contracts and negotiate service agreements
- Oversee event setup, execution, and breakdown at DC venues
- Develop detailed event timelines and contingency plans
- Manage client communications and stakeholder expectations
- Suppose on-site event staff and volunteer teams
- Post-event reporting and budget reconciliation
Qualifications
- 2+ years of event coordination or hospitality experience
- Proficiency in event management software (Cvent, Eventbrite)
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities
- Strong vendor management and negotiation skills
- Availability to work evenings/weekends as needed
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Knowledge of DC venue landscape preferred
- BS/BA in Hospitality, Marketing, or related field
