Responsibilities
- Unloading & Receiving: Safely unload delivery trucks and verify incoming merchandise against delivery invoices.
- Stocking & Shelving: Organize products on shelves, ensure proper pricing tags are applied, and maintain visual merchandising standards.
- Inventory Control: Rotate stock to ensure FIFO (First-In, First-Out) and alert management to out-of-stock items.
- Store Maintenance: Keep the backroom, receiving area, and sales floor clean, organized, and safe for customers and staff.
- Customer Assistance: Provide friendly and helpful support to customers as needed during your shift.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate hand trucks, pallet jacks, and basic power equipment.
Qualifications
- Availability: Must be available to work early morning shifts, typically between 4:00 AM and 1:00 PM.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform repetitive motions.
- Experience: Previous retail stocking or warehouse experience is preferred but not required.
- Reliability: A strong work ethic and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Communication: Basic verbal communication skills and the ability to follow instructions clearly.
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
