Responsibilities
- Receive and verify incoming merchandise shipments against packing lists.
- Unload trucks efficiently and move products to the designated storage areas.
- Organize shelves, racks, and displays to ensure maximum product visibility and accessibility.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment at all times.
- Rotate stock according to FIFO (First-In, First-Out) standards to ensure product freshness.
- Assist in inventory counts and report discrepancies to management immediately.
- Operate pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment safely.
Qualifications
- Ability to work early morning shifts (typically 5:00 AM - 2:00 PM).
- Physically fit with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Basic reading and comprehension skills for following safety guidelines and checklists.
- Reliable transportation and a punctual attendance record.
- Experience with inventory management systems or forklift operation is a plus but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
