Responsibilities
- Safely walk multiple dogs simultaneously in designated neighborhoods
- Provide fresh water, administer medications as directed
- Monitor pet health and behavior during walks
- Maintain detailed walk logs and client communications
- Transport pets to veterinary appointments when needed
- Uphold strict safety protocols for all animals
- Attend quarterly training sessions on pet first aid
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional dog handling experience
- Valid driver's license and insured vehicle
- Reliable smartphone with GPS capability
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and walk 3+ miles daily
- Certification in pet first aid/CPR preferred
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Background check clearance required
