Responsibilities
- Safely walk dogs of all sizes and temperaments in Reno neighborhoods and parks
- Follow client-specific care instructions and maintain detailed walk logs
- Provide real-time photo/video updates to pet owners via our mobile app
- Ensure dogs' safety during walks and handle basic first aid if needed
- Clean up after pets and maintain professional appearance during services
- Build trust with dogs and owners through reliable, compassionate care
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional dog walking or pet care experience
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Physical ability to walk dogs in various weather conditions
- Excellent communication skills and smartphone proficiency
- Must pass background check and pet handling assessment
- Current pet CPR certification or willingness to obtain
- Availability for weekend and early morning shifts
