Responsibilities
- Safely walk multiple dogs simultaneously using proper leash techniques and handling protocols
- Provide personalized care including feeding, medication administration, and playtime
- Monitor pets for health and behavioral changes, documenting observations accurately
- Maintain clean and organized equipment and vehicles between assignments
- Communicate professionally with pet owners via app updates and text messages
- Adhere strictly to client-specific care instructions and safety guidelines
- Transport pets to veterinary appointments or dog parks when required
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional dog walking or pet care experience
- Current CPR/First Aid certification for pets preferred
- Valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and walk up to 5 miles daily
- Excellent time management and punctuality skills
- Strong communication and customer service abilities
- Flexible availability including weekends and holidays
- Must pass comprehensive background check and drug screening
