Responsibilities
- Safely walk dogs in residential and park settings following leash protocols
- Provide feeding, water refreshment, and waste cleanup services
- Monitor pet behavior and report health concerns to owners
- Maintain accurate walk logs and client communication via app
- Administer basic medications when authorized by pet owners
- Transport pets to vet appointments or doggy daycare as needed
- Participate in monthly safety training sessions
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional dog handling experience
- Current pet first/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Reliable transportation and clean driving record
- Flexible availability including weekends and holidays
- Strong physical ability to handle large/excited dogs
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- Valid Texas driver's license and proof of insurance
- Pass background check and drug screening
