Responsibilities
- Safely leash-walk dogs in groups or solo outings (30-90 min sessions)
- Monitor pet health, behavior, and environmental safety during walks
- Provide real-time photo/video updates to pet owners via mobile app
- Maintain accurate records of walk times, pet observations, and incidents
- Administer basic care (treats, water, waste cleanup) per client instructions
- Transport pets to/from veterinary appointments when needed
- Adhere strictly to client preferences and safety protocols
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional dog walking or pet care experience
- Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle for pet transportation
- Current pet first/CPR certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to safely manage dogs up to 80 lbs
- Flexible availability including early mornings, evenings, and weekends
- Smartphone proficiency for app-based communication
- Excellent time management and reliability
