Responsibilities
- Safely walk dogs in designated Orlando neighborhoods while maintaining control and ensuring animal welfare
- Provide timely updates and photo/video reports to pet owners via our mobile app
- Administer basic care including hydration, waste cleanup, and leash handling
- Adapt walking routes based on weather conditions and pet-specific needs
- Build trust-based relationships with both pets and their owners
- Attend monthly training sessions on pet safety and best practices
- Uphold company standards for reliability and punctuality
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional dog walking or pet care experience
- Valid Florida driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to walk dogs of all sizes and temperaments confidently
- Strong understanding of canine behavior and safety protocols
- Excellent communication skills for client interactions
- Physical stamina to handle multiple walks in varying weather
- Must pass background check and pet handling assessment
- CPR/First Aid certification preferred (training provided)
